Building Relationship

Wow…! I found an incredible relationship doctor.

I personally haven’t needed help in this area these days but when I tried to help my best friend, I did some research and came across this Professional Counselor by the name of Bob Grant.

He wrote this book called “The Women Men Adore… and Never Want to Leave”

I bought his book to give to my friend as a gift but I was naughty. I had a sneak and read through quickly before I gave it to her. I hope she is not reading this article. Never mind as I have given this book to a few people by now.
This is what Bob said:

I am so confident that you’ll be absolutely thrilled with “The Woman Men Adore…and Never Want to Leave,” that I couldn’t pry it out of your hands if I tried.  But don’t take my word for it. Get your hands on my e-book today and put it to the test for 8 weeks. Read every page and try out the tips, tactics and strategies on for size and if it’s not worth at least 10 times more than you what you paid for  — or if it hasn’t revolutionized your love life — or if you’re not 100% satisfied within 8 weeks, I’ll refund your entire purchase price. NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

the "first and last of its kind” relationship book that will show you how to completely understand men once and for all – and use that understanding to create the relationship of your dreams -- not in months or years, but immediately.  That is why this is the last book on man-woman relationships that you’ll ever need to read. You’ll get everything you need right in this book to accomplish your relationship goals and completely change your life.

You’ve probably heard of bestselling books like “Men are from Mars, Women are From Venus” and “He’s Just Not That Into You.”  Unlike those books and other relationship books on the market that point to the glaring differences between men and women (“Tell me something I didn’t know!”) The Woman Men Adore…and Never Want to Leave goes a step further and teaches you how to use those differences to your utmost advantage.

When you master the principles I teach in The Woman Men Adore…and Never Want to Leave, men won’t be able to resist you, they’ll do your bidding, and will feel powerless around you.  Best of all, they’re going to love every minute of it.  Everybody wins!

Whether you want to “get out of a relationship rut,” attract the relationship you want into your life, or find fulfillment in your current relationship, I hope that for your sake, you’ll take the path to relationship success that hundreds of my clients have taken.

Wishing you the relationship of your dreams,

Bob Grant, L.P.C.

I hope you enjoy the preview and why don’t try to read the whole book.

A healthy relationship is worth the world to me and I am sure you agree with me.

Regards,

Coach Tenny

The Currency of the Future by Brad DeHaven

Hi Everyone,

I am reading a book called “The Currency of the Future” by Brad DeHaven. He said that when you know this, you control your destiny.

He said that The BIG Three, Emotional Intelligence (EQ), Financial Intelligence (FQ) and Relational Intelligence (RQ) are more important than high IQ. I completely agree with him as I have experienced the positive effects from the application of the BIG Three.

According to Brad that in order to succeed, you need to decide what you want first, i.e. what is your DREAM? Then you need to set our GOALS, i.e. by when do you want to achieve what you want? Then put in place a good PLAN how to get there and then make EFFORT to achieve your DREAM.

DREAM -> GOALS -> PLAN -> EFFORT

Most of us going around and around the circle putting huge amount of efforts doing work without knowing where we really want to achieve apart from finishing your boss’ jobs just so we can pay our bills and eat. We just simply use the money to get by without any significant DREAM.

It’s ironic isn’t it. Have you ever gone on a vacation without first decide where you want to go? Can you imagine that? You can’t even book an airline or train ticket without knowing where you want to go really. Yet we do that with our lives.

It’s no different to your life journey, you have to decide exactly what you want and where you want to go, otherwise you would just go around and around chasing your tails.

So… as of today, first of all, sit down, grab a piece of paper and a pen and list 100 things that you want to achieve by the time you are a certain age or by such and such time. Put down next to each of them how you will feel when you achieve them. When emotion is attached it means a lot to you, which means you will do whatever it takes to achieve them.

Set up a plan how you are going to achieve each and everyone of them and by when. Keep doing the tasks and the process persistently until you achieve them without stopping.

This paragraph resonates to me:

“If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up the people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.” Antoine Exupery.

Enjoy,

Week 3 of 2011

Hi All,

I hope the first 3 weeks of 2011 has been great for you and I hope you remember to pray for those who have been affected by the natural disasters around the globe.

The Government, charity organisations, community supporters and individuals have been busy giving, helping and paying tribute to those people who were unfortunately affected by something that was no way to be controled.

A humungous amount of water, fire, mud or anything for that matter is extremely dangerous particulary when/if it come in  an extremely unorderly and uncontrolable manner.

Althought disasters are often out of our control, while we follow all the rules to be much better prepared to minimise the effect of disasters, let’s learn to also be in control of our own attitude and behaviour on an ongoing basis to become a stronger person.  This way we will also become better in dealing with difficult situations like natural disasters.

If you need help, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Kind Regards,

Coach Tenny

Week 1 of 2011

Hi My Favourite Readers,

Happy New Year…! May 2011 is the best year yet for you all.

How are you doing with your New Year’s Resolution so far? Did you even have one?

What did you plan to improve this year?

  • Bigger goals?
  • Better financial management?
  • Better eating habits?
  • More exercise?
  • Higher motivation?
  • More generousity?
  • More organised?
  • More confidence and self esteem?
  • More tolerance?

Whatever it is you plan to improve, other than making your plan, ensure that that you have a well structured processes and most of all you must take action on your plan.

Once you commence taking action, if it does not work successfully the first time, never ever give up, you must be persistence and repeatedly refocus or recompose yourself to do it again and again until you achieve your goals.

Make sure that you set smaller goals and achieve one small goals at a time. How do you eat an elephant? “One bite at a time”. That right, one step at a time and enjoy your journey to get to your destiny. Be patient and be persistent. There is no other way.

If you already set you goals and prepared your plans for this year, you may want to review it now and check if you have started with your action plans. If you haven’t and you are in a position to take your first step right this minute, do it now.

Proscrastination is the worst blocker of any success, so don’t allow your mind to play with this dangerour word of proscrastination. Encourage and force yourself to do what you need to do. Swith that “YES” button on your right side of your brain.

If you haven’t already prepared your plans or set your goals, why don’t you start doing that now. A plan is extremely important to start your journey to success. Without a clear plan, you don’t have a target and we may go all over the place without choosing the path to take you to where you want to go and where you want to end up being.

The first week of 2011 is not over yet and even if it was by the time you get to read this, you are never too late to start.

Enjoy the rest of this first week and all the best.

Catch you later,

Love,

Coach Tenny,

xx

Freedom

Freedom is such a profound word.  Everyone dreams of having freedom in life.  I’d say that freedom is worth more than anything to most people, yet most people may not have realised that missing the simple things we take for granted may be the reason why we lose a sense of freedom.

I have a little story to tell a long this line.  Recently, I went overseas to a developing country for a holiday for a few weeks.  It was a highly populated and poluted country that is rich in culture, natural resources, food and people’s friendliness.  Unfortunately, the tap water is not drinkable there.

What does that mean to me who was so used to having drinkable tap water that can be used for everything including drinking it of course?  It was extremely difficult.  I had to use bottled or boiled water to drink, brush my teeth, wash plates and cutleries, wash fruit and salad, which means that it was always risky for me to eat at restaurants and cafes, let alone local street side food stalls.  However, when you travel a lot, you tend to buy ready to eat food when you are hungry or when it’s meal time.  It’s even more important for me, as I love being adventurous with food.

I thought I was being careful making sure that I did not eat or drink anything that was likely to cause any health problem but guess what? I always have a stomach bug whenever I go to these beautiful places which is a little annoying.

When I returned to my home town in Australia where we have so much fresh air and tap water that is drinkable, I really could not believe the level of freedom I regained, simply for being able to brush my teeth and wash my mouth without thinking that I may catch some dangerous bacteria from having a drop of water landed on my lip by accident.  That feeling of freedom simply just because of water was a phenomenal feeling.  Unbelievable..!  That is something huge for me and I will never take Australian tap water for granted ever again.

I hope you enjoy this article and I hope you enjoy Adelaide’s tap water like I do.

Kind Regards,

Coping with Change

Coping with Change is probably one of the most important capability we need to have in today’s life.

Changes are often inevitable, out of our control and no doubt influence our lives in a big way. So, if we are not ready and prepared to receive and manage those changes coming our way, we will find life pretty stressful and difficult to deal with. This is because, today, changes do come very rapidly from different sources and directions.

They say that the most definite thing that we have in our life is change. There is no doubt, everyday, we will hear, read or find new things appearing in front of us and we need to make choices on what we are going to do with those changes.

I have a few options to help you cope with change:

  • First of all, ask yourself these questions:
  • Is the change within your control?
  • Does the change directly affect you?
  • Is it necessary for you to respond to, react to or take action of?
  • Is it necessary for you to take on board the awareness and the knowledge of the change?

If you say “No” to all of those questions, I suggest, ignore that change and let go. You just continue focusing on your own agenda, having your own race to achieve your own goals happily and peacefully. Do not allow that change to affect your life in anyway what so ever.

If you say “Yes” to question 1, then obviously the change is your choice, so you should be in control all the way and enjoy the process.

If you say “Yes” to question 2 but it’s not within your control to do anything about it, explore for different perspectives and find the advantaging factor for YOU and embrace the change.

If you say “Yes” to question 3, explore and find positive perspectives and constructive responses and then respond to it professionally as necessary, go with the flow and enjoy the journey. Do anything you can, not to stress about changes that are not within your control.

If you say “Yes” to question 4, just take note in either your mind or physically write it down, and then move on with your own agenda as stated above. Preferably, write it down and then put it aside, so it does not become a distraction while you focus on your journey to achieve the most important goal for YOU.

I am confident that you can practice with this first option, you will be able to cope with change easily.

That’s my first article on this blog about “Coping with Change” and I will come back another day to write more about it.

If you need support and assistance to “cope with change” successfully and to have a well balanced life style, you may want to try life coaching. Here is the link to find out more about life coaching.

Taking Action

  • Taking action on your plan is the most important part of any process of achieving goals. However, it is the most difficult part of the process.
  • Most of us have a lot of ideas and opinions about everything. We usually know what we want in life. However, we don’t always know how to start or to find the right path to get there.
  • Human beings have huge minds to gather and store ideas and opinions. However, unless you train your mind to put those ideas in order, to put a plan in place and to take action to go through the required journey joyfully and peacefully, you will not be able to achieve your goals successfully.
  • It is easy to want something and to come up with ideas but it is not always easy to achieve them.
  • There is a specific and structured process to put your ideas and thoughts in the right perspectives, to plan and to travel through your journey and to then turn your dreams into reality.
  • Your coach is here to work with you through that journey of yours to achieve your goals providing you are willing to travel through that journey to take you to your destination.
  • Without taking action on your ideas and plans, you will never achieve your goals.
  • The moment you decide to take action on one smallest goal, you will want to achieve more and your life will evolve to become the one you want.
  • For me, taking action to do various and related studies, jobs and life experiences to become an exceptional life coach has come to fruition.
  • Just remember though that everything requires a process. So, be patient, persistent and resilient.
  • Never give up and most of all, take action and keep moving forward.

Good Luck and Best Wishes.
