Where has the time gone..?

First of all, I wish to apologise for not publishing anything for such a long time. Since I became a grandmother, time has gone by very quickly. That’s right, I am blaming my grandchildren :), although I became a grandmother a long time ago, in 2011 and I have published a few articles here until 2018 and I published a book called “You Are Successful” in about mid 2020. This book is about my own life experience and the reason I called it “You Are Successful” is because it contains a lot of inspirational messages to hopefully motivate those who want to be successful.

As a Moslem, I undertook a Hajj Pilgrimage as it is recommended at least once in a life time. I did mine in July-August 2019 and afterward I decided to retire from my full time employment as an Australian Public Servant. I retired in January 2020 after 40 years of employment in Indonesia and Australia. I was ready to retire as an employee with my intention to concentrate on my life coaching practice, even though it’s been slow to date and I hope to pick up my pace real soon.

After I retired in January 2020, as we all know, the whole world kind of stopped from March 2020 due to Covid 19 pandemic, started in China and spread through-out the whole world, killing 6.42 million people globally so far. This is one of the reasons that has slowed me down so much too. As I booked about 5 different holidays in 2020 but was unable to leave home due to travel restrictions because of Covid, I spent a lot of time cancelling my holidays and trying to get my money back. It was very time consuming and I received my final refund at the end of 2021. 2021 was almost a non-existence. We were all busy dealing with Covid issues, at least listening to all the news about it. A very interesting year indeed.

We’re now in August 2022 already and I only just realised that I really need to strictly manage my time and become proactive again to work on my project systematically, as I planned to do in my retirement.

As of today, for now I have decided to set my daily schedule as per below:

  • Reading for 1 hour;
  • Walking or doing other type of physical exercise for 1 hour;
  • Cleaning and decluttering my house/office for 1 hour;
  • Working on my various projects including writing this blog for 3-4 hours;
  • Preparing and cooking food for my family for 1-2 hours;
  • Relaxing for 1 hour.

So let’s get active guys…!!!

That’s all for now and see you next time. Don’t forget to smile 🙂
